This page will provide you with general tips and notes needed to attempt these papers; But will not explain each paper in detail.



Weight-age:
Paper 1

Paper 1 has approximately 25 short answer questions.
Candidates should show all working in the spaces provided on the question paper. Omission of essential
working will result in loss of marks.
No calculators are allowed for this paper.
80 marks weighted at 50% of the total
Paper 2

Paper 2 has structured questions across two sections.
Section A (52 marks): approximately six questions. Candidates should answer all questions.
Section B (48 marks): five questions. Candidates should answer four.
Electronic calculators may be used.
Candidates should show all working in the spaces provided on the question paper. Omission of essential
working will result in loss of marks.
100 marks weighted at 50% of the total

You must have your syllabus at all times so you would know that you are studying the right thing and not missing any important chapter. Mathematics (4024) Book List:

After you have the syllabus you need to learn your coursework. For this you need a book to study.
There are a total of four different books for the entire O' levels Mathematics syllabus. 
Also known as MATHEMATICS SYLLABUS ' D, it is very common in schools and is the most widely used series for O' levels Mathematics.
Any other book would also do as long as the syllabus is covered.



Mathematics (4024) Past Papers:

After you have finished your coursework you need to practice to make your skills perfect. You need to practice the papers of at least 5 years to test your knowledge.
